报告摘要：Hypergraphs are generalizations of graphs and simplicial complexes, but it turns out that they require a mathematical theory of their own. We describe the construction of a Laplace operator and its spectral theory.

   We also present various applications, including chemical reaction networks and pattern formation by diffusively coupled operators on hypergraphs.

报告人简介：Jürgen Jost(岳尔根·约斯特)，德国国家科足球吧 院士，国际著名的数学家， 在几何分析、微分几何等多个数学领域成果卓著。发表学术论文500多篇，其中包括四大天王杂志 Acta. Math. 1篇，Invent. Math. 3篇，被引用15000多次。1986年受邀在国际数学家大会作45分钟报告，1993年获得德国科研最高奖—莱布尼茨奖。 2010年获欧洲研究委员会杰出学者基金，2018年获特乌布纳基金会科学奖，2024年获上海市国际科技合作奖。
